Compliance Training Coordinator for Youth Residential Services (GRO/CPA)
SAFE Children’s Shelter is seeking a Compliance Training Coordinator for Youth Residential Services. This position will plan, coordinate and facilitate the children’s shelter staff training experience in both pre-service as well as annually required training. Additionally this position will support training and compliance requirements for staff /parents in our Foster and Adopt program as needed. This is an in-person position.

About this position:
- We need you to fill the role of Compliance Training Coordinator for Youth Residential Services. This is a FULL TIME, EXEMPT position at Rathgeber Village Campus, 4800 Manor Road, Austin, Texas 78723. We will pay you an annual salary of $39,000 – 41,000.
Key Duties:
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire pre-service training activities.
- Manage the tracking and communication of all staff trainings.
- Plan for and assist with facilitation of ongoing annual training opportunities.
- Maintain and generate reports for internal and regulatory quality assurance and compliance.
- Maintain confidentiality with personnel records.
- Perform annual analysis and ongoing surveying of operation-specific and general training needs.
- Provide required training to staff in emergency behavior and trauma-informed relational intervention.
- Perform regular reviews of staff trainings and communicate with HR and administrators.
Qualifications:
- Possess an Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred.
- 2+ years’ experience in using various modes of instruction for various learning styles as a trainer required.
- Applied knowledge of General Residential Operations/Child Placing Agency minimum standards preferred.
- Experience developing and facilitating in person and online training mandatory.
- Be certified in to train or able to be certified within 3-6 months in (SAMA) Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression, and (TBRI) Trust Based Relational Intervention. This is a mandatory requirement of the position.
- Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
