SAFE Operations team seeks a full-time support Associate, whose role is responsible for the systematic delivery and tracking of In-Kind and Operational resources. In-Kind donations are items donated by the community to support SAFE clients and programs, such as hygiene items, bedding, clothing and pantry items. The Warehouse Associate assists in picking up donations, delivering supplies to all campuses, maintaining an organized warehouse and efficiently respond to ongoing and one-time staff needs. As a member of the Operations Team, this position will also assist the Facilities team as needed

About this position:

  • We need you to fill the role of Warehouse Associate. This is a FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT position based at our Warehouse on the Grove Blvd campus, with daily or weekly runs to our Rathgeber Village campus. We will pay you an hourly salary of $15/hr

Key Duties:

  • Ensure the In-kind Warehouse is well organized, and all in-stock items are shelved and accessible to staff and clients
  • Maintain basic need closets in our Children's Shelter Cottages-- keep well stocked with supplies
  • Transport supplies between campuses, move furniture for staff or programs, pick up donated furniture items
  • Communicate with Warehouse team and program managers on current needs, shortages, system issues, and assist with tracking and reporting.
  • Provide client and customer focused service at all times



  • Experience working in a fast paced environment, preferably in a customer service focused position
  • Experience working in a warehouse setting; have great organizational skills and manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Experience using computers for data entry and email
  • Experience driving large cargo vans or trucks. This position requires the ability to drive agency vans as part of the job.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in outdoor climate
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
