The SAFE Alliance's Facilities Department seeks a full-time Facilities Technician II to maintain and upkeep our facilities, equipment, grounds, and vehicles for our agency.

About this position:

  • We need you to fill the role of Facilities Technician. This is a FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT position at our all our campuses and ensure a high quality of work has been performed.
  • We will pay you an hourly salary of $20-$23, depending on experience.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain the operational function of facilities, equipment, grounds, and vehicles on all SAFE’s campuses.
  • Performs repairs to SAFE facilities. Minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical using hand and light power tools.
  • Inspect vacated units and perform duties to restore units to “make-ready” status.
  • Work with other members of the Facilities Department to complete tasks.
  • Maintain a safe work environment for staff and clients.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a High School Diploma.
  • 3+ years of experience with general repairs
  • This is a position that requires driving. You must  have at least three (3) consecutive years of driving experience OR one (1) year of driving experience if over 27 years of age
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
