what WE need YOU to do for us

We need you to fill the role of Warehouse Associate. This is a FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Provide Client & Customer Focused Service for staff, colleagues, and donors, with balance of Valuing Difference and following protocol;
  • Distribute in-kind resources to program staff, stocking ongoing supplies, and one-time needs;
  • Assure that in-kind closets and systems are well-organized and tracked;
  • Communicate with Director of In-Kind and Warehouse Team on current needs, shortages, and system issues, and assist with tracking and reporting, Exemplifying Excellent Interpersonal Skills;
  • Communicate with fellow warehouse team member and exhibit High Decision Quality to assure efficiency, and assist as needed;
  • Manage in-kind donations transportation, including scheduling and storage;
  • Review waitlist, coordinate with WH Team, and assist in distribution;
  • Purchasing assistance with approval from Supervisor, as needed and after efforts to Resourcefully supply in-house;
  • Transport supplies between campuses, as needed;
  • Move furniture for clients or donation acquisition, as needed;
  • to be successful in this role, WE’LL need YOU to
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a customer service focused position.
  • Have a valid Texas Driver’s license and excellent driving record.
  • Have strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
  • Have experience utilizing computers for word processing and email (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have excellent organizational abilities.
  • Be able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adjust to organizational needs with flexibility and Resiliency.
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well as submit to a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.

How WE’LL make it worth YOUR while

  • We will pay you a salary of $12-$13/hour.
  • We’ll pay for your medical, life and short-term disability insurance.
  • We will give you 15 accrued paid time off days in the first year, and 22 days in the second year, capping out at 30 days after year seven.
  • We’ll pay you for our six agency holidays and four additional personal holidays to be used at your discretion.
  • We’ll contribute 2% to your 403(b) retirement, and we’ll kick in an additional 1% if you agree to match it.
  • We understand that you have commitments outside of the workplace, and we’ll do our very best to offer you some flexibility in your work schedule.
  • We’ll offer you discounted day care for your kiddos at our day care center, as enrollment allows.
