Supportive Housing Program Resident Advisor
SAFE’s Supportive Housing Program is looking for a part-time, weekend Resident Advisor. The SAFE Supportive Housing Program is a transitional housing program serving homeless survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or human trafficking. Resident Advisors for the Supportive Housing program are responsible for providing support with security, maintenance, and administrative needs.

About this position:
- We need you to fill the role of Supportive Housing Program Resident Advisor. This is a Part-Time, Non-Exempt position at our Grove Blvd. campus. We will pay you an hourly salary starting at $19.00. The shift currently available is: part-time, weekends (Saturday & Sunday).
Key Duties:
- Responsible for monitoring the overall security and condition of the property. Report & resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide support to residents with crisis de-escalation, safety planning, problem solving, lease-related documentation, and submission of maintenance requests.
- Document all client interactions, crisis response, maintenance requests, incidents, & lease violations. Provide daily shift log to Resident Services Manager.
- Issue food pantry assistance, basic needs, and household items to residents under the direction of the Resident Services Manager and Program Director. Restock and organize supplies.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Be capable of sitting and standing for extended periods of time, as well as be able to intermittently push, pull, or lift 50+lbs. of force.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
- The ability to problem-solve and defuse crisis under pressure.
- Knowledge or background in the topics of sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, poverty, and disability preferred.
- Spanish speaking preferred. Applicants' bilingual in both the Spanish and English language will receive a language differential.
- Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
