what WE need YOU to do for us

We need you to fill the role of Children's Advocate - Summer Temporary. This is a FULL TIME, NON-EXEMPT position. You’ll wow us by masterfully performing the following key duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement therapeutic, recreational, and social programming to children participating in summer program.
  • Assess children’s physical, social, and emotional needs and makes plans accordingly.
  • Serve as a role model for positive interaction with children.
  • Serve as a role model for positive interaction with children.

 

to be successful in this role, WE’LL need YOU to

  • Possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development, Social Work or a related field or equivalent life and/or work experiences.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Have a valid Texas Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well as submit to a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
  • Adhere to our Guiding Principles, Mission, Core Competencies and Confidentiality Policy.
