Rapid Rehousing Program Manager

SAFE Rapid Rehousing Program seeks a full-time manager. The Rapid Rehousing Program Manager directly supervises three (3) Rapid Rehousing Advocates in conjunction with another Rapid Rehousing Manager who does the same.  This position also coordinates with internal and external partners to ensure integration of Coordinated Entry, outreach, intake, rental assistance and support services; and works to ensure we provide trauma-responsive, client-centered, and culturally-grounded services to homeless survivors of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse.

About this position:

  • We need you to fill the role of Rapid Rehousing Program Manager. This is a full time, exempt position at our Grove Campus that works in a hybrid capacity working remotely in the community and in person on the Grove campus. We will pay you an annual salary of $48,000 to $50,000 depending on experience.

​​​​​​​Key Duties:

  • Hire, train, supervise, evaluate and release the Rapid Rehousing Advocate team.
  • Plan, monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of RRH advocacy services to ensure accountability, excellent service delivery, and grant compliance.
  • Ensure effective outreach and provision of rental assistance and advocacy services to survivors of domestic or sexual violence, child abuse and/or human trafficking.
  • Manage ambiguity and, as necessary, provide direct services to ensure continuity of services.
  • Coordinate services with diverse teams inside SAFE and with community partners.
  • Provide support and technical assistance to coworkers and community partners to help ensure that services are trauma-responsive, client-focused, and value difference.
  • Adhere to our Guiding Principles, Mission, Core Competencies and Confidentiality Policy.


  • Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required. Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Relevant work experience may be substituted for education.
  • Experience providing direct service advocacy or case management services required.
  • Two years supervisory experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of domestic and sexual violence, human trafficking, and child abuse required; familiarity with risk assessment and safety planning required.
  • Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required. This position will work and supervise staff at different job sites.
  • Knowledge of homelessness, local homeless services, and Rapid Rehousing Program model preferred.
  • Experience with community collaborations and partnerships preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  • Pass all required criminal history background checks (including an FBI fingerprint check), as well a pre-employment drug screen and TB test.
